A Structured Path to Spiritual Growth

Our youth programmes at Sydenham Islamic Centre are specially designed to nurture children’s connection to Islam, while helping them grow into confident, knowledgeable individuals. We cater to boys and girls aged 4-16, offering a balanced and structured curriculum that combines:

  • Qur’anic Studies: Children learn how to recite the Qur’an correctly with proper tajweed, gaining a strong foundation in Qur’anic knowledge.
  • Islamic Studies: We teach the essentials of Islam, including the stories of the Prophets, the pillars of faith, and the lessons of the Sunnah.
  • Du’a and Adhkaar Memorisation: Children are guided in memorising authentic daily supplications (du’as) and remembrances (adhkaar), providing them with spiritual tools for everyday life.

Our aim is to build a future generation that is rooted in faith, equipped with knowledge, and confident in their Muslim identity. Our structured classes are age-appropriate, ensuring that every child receives the attention and support they need to flourish. We believe in creating a safe, encouraging environment where children can thrive both spiritually and academically.
